How the Township Communicates to Residents About Amendment Applications
The public has a right to comment on proposed amendment applications to the Zoning By-law and Official Plan. We publicize them by:
- Posting a large sign along the frontage of the lands
- Publishing the notices on the Township's website
- Hosting public meetings to discuss the proposed change
How to Participate?
Submit Comments in Writing:
Should you wish to provide written comments on a planning application, please submit your comments via the following:
- In person at the Township of Muskoka Lakes Municipal Office (1 Bailey Street, Port Carling, ON)
- Email planning@muskokalakes.ca

Active Participation In-Person or on Zoom:
Hybrid meetings are held at 9:00 a.m. on the meeting date in Council Chambers at the Municipal Office. For more information about participating via Zoom, please view the Public Meeting Agenda for the zoom information.
