LANDSCAPE CONCEPTS | Hanna Park & Milford Bay

The final landscape concepts for Hanna Park and Milford Bay Community Centre are here!

From gathering community input throughout the landscape design process, on December 10, 2025, Council approved staff's recommendations (in Staff Report OS-2025-057) that related to improving the layout of the parks, which included:

  • Hanna Park
    • Moving boat parking dock (16) to other side of point to allow the top end to remain a quiet area; and
    • Moving painted games (14) to the court versus the walking path.
  • Milford Bay
    • Moved half court near playground (12) and combine with the addition to current courts (26);
    • Allowed outdoor washroom (27) to be located in previous half court near playground (12).


WHATS NEXT | Community engagement on specific playground structures will be open early 2026. With the importance significance of the Hanna Park playground to this community, staff are engaging with the vendor to preserve as much of the existing playground as possible in these new designs.
