Communications Strategy

One of the action items included in the Township’s Strategic Plan is to identify opportunities for modernization and digitization of services, as well as enhance customer service engagement. Over the last little while, a number of strategic/continuous improvement projects to establish a path forward for modernizing the Township's business/services/processes have been completed or are underway. With respecting to completed initiatives, effective communications has contributed to their success.

As the Township continues its journey of modernizing business/services/processes, there will be ongoing opportunities to improve/align communications activities to better serve the community.

In order to ensure that there is a consistent approach to the key concepts and messages, as well as the methods/channels/approaches to their communication, a Communications Strategy is needed.

Over the coming months a considerable amount of work will be done in order to determine the best approach to communications in the Township of Muskoka Lakes.
