Asset Management Level of Service Survey

Purpose of survey

The Township of Muskoka Lakes is conducting this survey to evaluate the performance and satisfaction with current services. Your responses will provide valuable community feedback on the quality of these services and guide future service standards. The insights gained will inform a Levels of Service Study, helping the Township understand the current state of services and future requirements based on community values. This study aims to enhance service delivery and is not intended to propose funding or service level cuts for specific assets or facilities.

We value our community members’ thoughts and opinions about the services they value most and the ways in which they access them. In this survey, we want to:

  • Understand how the community views the services they access through various Township assets, such as administration facilities (buildings and public works yard), fire services (stations and equipment), recreation and sports facilities (parks, community centres, arenas, trails), technology (Township website, internet connectivity, online self-service and/or self-reporting services), and transportation (roads and bridges, parking lots).
  • Identify key issues, concerns and opportunities; and
  • Gain insight into the community’s vision, goals and objectives for the future delivery of municipal services through its capital assets.
